They are close to downtown. If you have plans for downtown or the zoo, they are definitely worth dropping in. Remember, cash only and no one under 21.

Was there Wednesday me and a friend driving separate cars got two orders and ask for separate bags cause we're going different ways the waitress said no bags cost and i was like stun it was like back in the jim crow era and she for real.
They have a big neon sign on the wall that says carryout. I went there once. The service was slow, the waitress was rude and the $15 drinks tasted more like water than alcohol. Their cash only policy is inconvenient. Their so-called famous burgers were dry and the fries were WAY too salty. My boyfriend and I will NEVER go back and we dissuade all of our friends from going. Negative 5 stars rating from us!
What time does Church start Christmas eve? Is there a candle light service this late?

1st bar that I've know that closes at 8pm.
It may have odd hours and be cash only but those burgers are the BEST, well worth the little inconvenience!

THE Best burgers in Indianapolis. I lived in Indy for two and a half years. The food scene is fast food and mediocre restaurants. There is a reason this gem just celebrated it's 100th anniversary!! It is a local neighborhood "gin mill" (as my father used to call neighborhood bars) with exceptional food, good service and cold beer!! I stop here EVERY time I come back to Indianapolis. One thing to remember - NO KIDS (no one under 21) and CASH ONLY!!!!

I'm not usually a fan of the smashed burgers, but they are delicious here. Not too thin, but still had the crispy edges. Fries were good. Service was fast and friendly.

Excellent service. I opted to take the middle piece of bread out. Asked for onion rings well done. Yum!

Ever go into a place an know this place is perfect for you. The workings mans friend is that place. If only the walls could talk! The parking lot is completely full at lunch. You can only pay in cash. They have the best burger in Indianapolis. You will love this place!
